Ted & Priscilla Clark
Serving the Lord at Camp Berea
Ted and Priscilla Clark met at the Moody Bible Institute as they prepared for missionary service. Ted was raised on a farm in central Washington state. He trusted Christ as his Savior in his youth, however it was upon completing high school that he came to the realization that only a life of full surrender and service to the Lord would bring fulfillment. Priscilla was raised in Guatemala, Central America, where her parents served the Lord as missionaries. She trusted Christ in her younger years as well, but likewise, came to see that her only desire was to share Christ with others.
They were married in 1986, and the Lord led them to central Mexico. In 1988, they moved to the city of Salamanca, where they spent the next 7 years, working in evangelism and discipleship. They rejoiced to see the Lord raise up a church in that city. In 1996, they moved to a beautiful mountainous area in the state of Michoacán, just outside of the large city of Morelia. There, they continued with the same type of ministry, along with the building of a camp and conference facility to be used for winning the lost and the edification of believers. They have also seen the Lord raise up a church which meets at the camp, made up of believers from the rural villages around them. The Lord has given them 5 children, Caleb, Michael, Nathan, Katie and Annie, who have been a great support in the work as well.

Purpose/Vision/Goals
To bring the gospel to the people of Mexico and disciple new believers
-Continue using the camp facilities for evangelism and the discipleship of youth and families
-Bring believers to maturity in Christ
-Continue extending the gospel message to more areas in the state of Michoacán
-See churches raised up in new areas
-Continue with a state-wide project the Lord has led us to and abundantly provided for: AMOR Divino aims to provide a gospel of John for each of the over one million homes in the state of Michoacán. So far, God has provided the gospels, tracts and helpers to visit around 250,000 homes over the past 10 years or so.
Ongoing Prayer Requests
-We feel the desperate need for more workers for Mexico, particularly in the troubled state of Michoacán. (The majority of the missionaries we knew who were on the field when we came, have left, and very few remain, but the need remains just as great, or greater.)
-For the light of Christ to shine in hearts, in the very hard and staunchly Catholic area where we work, and that many, many more would receive the love of the truth and be saved.
-As you know, Mexico is a land of considerable corruption, with many parts ruled by organized crime and violence. Please pray for those in authority, that they might have a zeal for justice and be empowered to carry it out, so that we might be able to lead tranquil and quiet lives in all godliness and dignity, for the sake of more and more souls in Mexico coming to the knowledge of the truth to be saved. (1 Tim. 2:2-4)
-Pray that the authorities would work effectively for the punishment of evildoers and the praise of those who do right. (1 Peter 2:14).
-For the Lord’s gracious working in our lives and those of our children, to keep us sensitive to Him, and fill us with the knowledge of His will, to please Him in all respects… (Col. 1:9ff.)
-That the Word of God would spread rapidly and be glorified in central Mexico. (2 Thes. 2:1) -That we would be rescued from perverse and evil men. (2 Thes. 3:2)
-That the Lord would supply and multiply our seed for sowing and increase the harvest of our righteousness. (2 Cor. 9:8)
-That we would be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing it is not in vain. (1 Cor. 15:58)
-That we may speak the mystery of Christ and make it clear. (Col. 4:4) -That we would be controlled by the love of Christ (2 Cor. 5:14)
– That we would give no cause for offense in anything and take precautions so our ministry would not be discredited, and that we would have regard for what is honorable before God and man.
(2 Cor.6:3 and 8:20-21)
-That utterance may be given to us to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel (Eph. 6:19)
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR INTEREST AND PRAYERS!
