Edy & Isabel Mora
Serving the Lord in the city of Maravatio
Edy grew up in the village of Triguillos, Michoacan. He heard the gospel from a young age and attended the church at camp Berea, where Ted and Priscilla Clark were serving the Lord. It was not until he was seventeen that he surrendered his life to Jesus, at a summer camp for boys at Berea. Since trusting in Christ he had a growing desire to serve the Lord in missions.
Isabel is the oldest daughter of Martin and Hansy Tuohy, who moved from their home country Denmark to serve as missionaries in Puruandiro, Michoacan, when Isabel was nine. She trusted in Christ that same year. From about the age of twelve she knew she wanted to be a missionary in Mexico.
The Lord led Edy and Isabel to be married in November 2023. They have just moved to Maravatio, a small city in the state of Michoacan, to serve full time in evangelism and church planting. They have six ongoing Bible studies there.
